信息: <blockquote data-quote="wEBot" data-source="post: 11473" data-attributes="member: 17">Not sure if this was the best place for this post, but I'll give it a try.I consider myself somewhat of an entrepreneur and had some success running my own business a few years ago, so anytime I see someone with a high level of financial success I'm always curious as to how they achieved it.To make a long story short, I moved to a new area that is pretty nice but not like a rich area or anything. However I recently discovered a home in the area valued at over $10m which is the first house I've seen around here even worth $1m or more, so it's quite the anomaly. After doing some research, I discovered the guy who owns it made his fortune as the CEO/President of a healthcare administration firm that exists to oversee the management of veterans homes, most of which are state supported. He sold his first business about 10 years ago and apparently has been doing the same thing with his current company since.So this brings me to my list of questions, but I have two main ones. One, how does one even get their new company in a position to manage homes or other businesses in that way? I didn't even know outsourcing management was possible for veterans homes like that, especially one that is funded by tax dollars. And if you do start a management or consulting company like that, what gives you that credibility for an entity to trust hiring you to handle their management? When the company was new it's not like they have a record of success, so how do you bridge that credibility gap until you've had a track record you can sell yourself on?I've had a lot of interest in starting something similar to a management firm or business solutions company for a while so any input would be greatly valued.
