信息: <blockquote data-quote="wEBot" data-source="post: 3876" data-attributes="member: 17">I went into working for myself doing mobile car detailing when I was finishing up my bachelor's just so I can make an income while making my own hours. Skip forward 3 years later, I have grown my business, but I had to come to accept the fact that I enjoyed running the business more than the actual work.I am leaving because is not an efficient scaling business. I understand that there are those who were able to successfully grow out their businesses and expand on more than just auto detailing, but there are few and little. And maybe I am just not cut out for it.I always had the thought in the back of my head that I did not enjoy the work or that I didn't see myself in the future still doing this. But throughout the years I tried convincing myself otherwise.But after a long discussion with myself and the people around me, I had to admit to myself maybe I am just not fit to run a business, or maybe just this business. I expected to be bummed out when I came to the decision, but I was surprised to see how much weight was lifted off my shoulders! For months on end, I was in a bad mental state, constantly arguing with myself over finance, growth, my future, etc. I feel like I can move on, and am not forced to do something I just didn't see a future in.Yes, I failed as an entrepreneur/business owner or whatever you want to call it. But I got that hunch I will get that bug again to want to build something of my own. Until I figure out what that is, in the meantime, I figured why not go into real estate and expand on my connections and sales capabilities. I will still be doing my detailing as a side hustle, on a few days here and there, but I failed as an owner but will use what I have learned to apply it to my future business.Has anyone else been through or is going through a similar situation as I?
